Top 5 Things to Prepare for Your Best Birth
Research Your Birthing Location
One of the MOST important things you can do to increase your rate of satisfaction with your birth and lower your risk of unwanted interventions.
Interview Your Provider
We interview wedding planners, plumbers and childcare providers, we should 100% be interviewing our care providers.
Already have a doctor or midwife? It’s never too late to ask them pointed questions about what to expect at your birth.
Hire a Doula
Second most important thing you can do to increase your satisfaction with your birth!
Doula support can lead to shortened labor times, reduced need for pain relief / helps delay epidural and decreases risk of cesarean.
Take a Childbirth Class
Attendees are less likely to be induced, feel more in control, experience less anxiety and medical interventions.
Prepare for the Postpartum, too
Birth is just the beginning!
Planning for postpartum is just as necessary and helps ease the transition into parenthood.
